My First Flat!
At mile 2,914 it finally happened. Almost 3,000 miles through a bit of gravel in AK, construction in the
Yukon, bumps in BC, mud, sand, and rocks in Washington and Oregorgeous, and shoddy patched up roads of CA,
I finally got a flat.
Nevertheless, it was the end of the day and I had this beautiful scenery to look at in the Julia Pfieffer
Burns State Park, named after some homesteaders (Homestead Act 1862). The park hosts, Lu and Billy, were
awesome too and treated me to a great dinner and conversation.
A great day for a flat. Take a minute to look at these photos. They mesmerize me.
